Tiasha J. Garcia is just another teacher trying to make the world a better place through education. Towards accomplishing this goal, she writes short stories for her middle school Spanish classes that include costumes, props, student actors, and a lot of exaggerated acting to create comprehensible input.
Favorite Compliment: “Señora Garcia, you make the weirdest funny faces of any teacher I ever had in my life.”
Ms. Garcia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Whitman College; a teaching credential from San Francisco State University; a master’s degree and administrative credential from the California State University of Sacramento; and is contemplating a doctorate as soon as she can figure out how to bend the space-time continuum in her favor.
She also sometimes holds a ten-pound Bengal kitten, but he is fussy and only likes to be held on his own terms.
